7 months ago I keep considering this after my work with the imperfect vertical scroller. I think the widget framework I use, Vuetify, may support this as of recently which means I wouldn’t have to code it all myself. Hmmmmmmmmm….

A more intuitive way to read would be to allow continuous scrolling to flow between pages, so that the next page would always appear "below" the current page. No need to click to get the next page to load: just keep scrolling to load more pages.
