refactored init of class Formatter
refactored exists and get_syntax methods

In previous PR you added tests right? Could you set up continuous integration to automatically test PR's?

Hi @akalongman... yeah, but I think you has to turn on the travis builder for the repo... I think once you do that, it will build the PR's and merge...
