Contact names don't show on Text message extension

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- When I receive a text message, only the numbers show on the widget and not 
the contact names. This occurs despite having the contact number saved on my 
phone. 

What version of the product are you using?
v1.5

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
Samsung Galaxy Note III, Android 4.3

Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.
I'm using NOVA launcher.

Please provide any additional information below.
- the notification on the widget specifically shows "1 Unread Conversation" 
then below it is the number. On the contrary, the Whatsapp extension shows the 
name of the sender.

This happens to me too. It worked fine on stock and on Omnirom, but on 
CM11,only numbers display
