Unable to create Permalink for articles written #22

As of now we have URLs like this "pages//. Can we provide an option for user to make the URL without the Category Number?

Actually It is not the category number. It is the page number.

Even if the page title changes or page is moved to a different category, that number remains constant - acting as the permalink for that page. You can access any article as http://example.com/pages/<page_number>. You don't even need to provide the title.
