Steps to reproduce the issue
Create an article. Go to the front-end (main site, not the administration interface). Change any setting in the "Comments" tab, such as setting the commentary interface to "hidden". Save the article.
Expected result
The comment section is hidden

Nothing changes.

The issue is not present in the back-end. I have tested using a super user account, so I do not think this is a matter of user rights. I do not have any error concerning bad save or similar message.
When the comment section is hidden, the "comment" tab still shows as if it was displayed, so I assume it is not correctly loading its information from the database.
