BTW, I hope you don't already have such branch. I tried downloading and compiling the code you have under "Dharma", but as far as I could tell, it looked like vanilla XBMC (couldn't find any spotify goodness). Am I missing something? Thanks!
Hey akezeke, great work with spotyxbmc! Works like a charm on my Ubuntu media center.
I have a question/request: Could these changes be applied to the stable 10.1 version of XBMC? I can see that you have used the pre-11.0 unstable version (from git), and although the Spotify part works well, a few other things don't (such as certain plugins support, and some random crashes). I have tried to apply the changes you listed to the stable code myself, but I ran into a few problems when compiling, and since I'm not so familiar with the XBMC code, haven't been able to work aroud them... Would it be feasible to have 2 branches, one with the latest unstable version like you have now, and another with the stable version? That would be totally awesome :)
BTW, nice job documenting the changes you made to the code. Knowing which files had been changed and having the new code labeled inside the files, made it quite easy to (try) to port it over. Now if only I wasn't such a script kiddie...
