Hello Im building the libray using MSYS2 (MSYS64) on windows and I need the shared library . It seems that the system builds the static library .a only...

The configurations is this

As you can see g++ linker (/usr/x86_64-pc-msys/bin/ld.exe) supports shared libraries... no but gcc linker (/usr/x86_64-pc-msys/bin/ld.exe) supports shared libraries... yes and finally hecking if libtool supports shared libraries... no

Is this an incompatibility with MSYS2 or my toolchain is broken ? Thank you

Unfortunately I have no idea whether libtool can generate shared libraries (DLLs?) on Windows. Jansson also supports CMake, have you tried it?
