[Feature Request] Additional Entry Types #28

I have planning on acquiring a new vehicle, however due to financial constraints, I would be availing a Bank Loan for this purpose.

I think it would be super neat if we could also save the following information in Hammond, so that all the car related information stays in a singular location:

1) Finance Cost: Broken up into: (a) Principal Repayment (b) Interest Component

2) Insurance Renewal: The ability to save the cost of insurance on the vehicle and upload the Policy Document for the same

Both of these can be manual entries by the user.

I think you can do this using the expense option. Uploading documents for vehicle is already there.

Help me understand what is missing?

Thanks and Regards

Sure.

So you can add documents to expenses. What I was thinking more on the lines was adding something like Tags to such expenses, so that maybe later down the road, we can generate charts / reports based on expense type. That was expenses can be categorised as: 1) Fuel 2) Maintenance 3) Insurance 4) Finance Costs

This would also make it easier to track certain expenses quickly over longer periods of time.
