It connects it to the original streaming url. So if your internet is down you have no access to it. I'll include a local feed in PodFetch.
Release 67 of PodFetch will contain a local RSS feed. I could download podcast episodes without a problem via gPodder

Great news. PodFetch 67+ sounds like the answer to my problems. And thank you for clearing up the confusion.
You're welcome 👍 .
I live in a remote area where the internet connection can often be slow and unreliable. Which is why I hoped that Podgrab downloads might provide a solution to the frequent streaming hiccups.
I will be using Squeezebox (piCorePlayer) to listen to the podcasts. I've added the Podgrab Feed links to the Squeezebox Podcast plugin and intend to play the podcasts on a pair of Chromecast-enabled speakers with the aid of the Squeezebox Chromecast plugin.
My questions is this: if I play a podcast episode that has been downloaded to Podgrab, will Squeezebox be streaming a downloaded audio file hosted on my instance of Podgrab, or will the Podgrab Feed link connect Squeezebox to the original streaming url?
Thanks for any help clearing up my fuddlement.
