The initial patches required for packaging openMTPK as RPM are available here. https://github.com/sidsbrmnn/rpms-openmtpk
@akielaries I'll streamline it more and make a Koji build available soon for you to test.
This sounds good! I should include more clarification within the project, but at the moment the R, OCaml, and Fortran bindings are in an experimental phase. I had just opened up a new issue regarding this (#40) I would say the primary language to focus on should be the stable Python API. Other than this, it sounds good!
This thread is to discuss the process of publishing openMTPK to Fedora Project.
Since this is a C++ project which has bindings to Python, R, OCaml and Fortran, I'm thinking of the following set of packages.
openmtpk
- Base package withlibopenMTPK.so
andlibopenMTPK.a
openmtpk-devel
- Development package with theopenMTPK
headerspython-openmtpk
- Python bindingsR-openMTPK
- R bindingsocaml-openmtpk
- OCaml bindingsI'm still not sure of the naming convention for the Fortran binding, but I'll add that as soon as I get it.
