倉頡輸入法 cannot be used inside "iPhone Search" page #306

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. At the first page of SpringBoard
2. go to -1 page of the springboard (iPhone Search)
3. on the "iPhone Search" Bar, cannot find 倉頡輸入法, just the originals,
though I don't know if any other keyboards have got the same problem.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
倉頡輸入法is expected, and now there are only originals left.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system
(iPhone/iPod Touch? Firmware version?)?
iPhone 3GS 3.0.1

Please provide any additional information below.
Only the "iPhone Search" Page on SpringBoard has the problem, tested
Notes, SMS, Safari Search Bar, Contact Search Bar.

(just to note that cydia search bar supports only English Keyboard, my
turned-on-original-Japanese keyboard cannot be used as well, though this
is not the problem of iKeyEx :) )

***** Note: iKeyEx (thus hClipboard & 5-Row QWERTY) doesn't work on 3.0
yet. Please subscribe to issue 83 for the updates. Delete this line if your
issue is unrelated to 3.0.

I did these things after I post the issue and the CangJie works on that page
now.
1, Install "Numpad" on cydia, enable it.
2, Install the .DEB of 詞庫 found here.
3, after installing the 詞庫, I found that CangJie no longer work (CangJie
keyboard
became Emoji keyboard)
4, Reinstall CangJie, meanwhile, 詞庫 no longer works, but CangJie does.
5, Reinstall 詞庫, CangJie not working, then reinstall CangJie.
6, Swap my iPhone to the Search Page on SpringBoard, and iPhone crashes, with
the
keyboard "Numpad" on the screen
7, Reboot iPhone, uninstall Numpad, disable it.
8, Swap to Search Page see if it crashes. Not only is it not going to crash,
but
CangJie also works like a charm!

Sorry if I have made some troubles or blah blah...
(Off-topic: if possible, by any chance you can make an option to disable using
Phrases in CangJie? Thanks)

@kutarsgiga

The actual problem is, without restarting, iKeyEx won't be not loaded into
SpringBoard. That's why Cangjie can't
be used. Phrases table is irrelevant to this issue.
