grip r619 breaks any type of notification for emails (they dont pop up at all) #505

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install grip r619
2.receive email (personally i have both gmail and yahoo and neither one
shows a notification)
3.watch as no notification pops up :(

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
a grip message should pop up but it does not

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system
(iPhone/iPod Touch? Firmware version?)?
iphone 3gs 3.1.2

Please provide any additional information below.
I've downgraded to the build provided here in the first comment:

Do you know what happened to the SMS notifications and Memory Watcher?
