Button Instance issues in Firefox 3.0 on Mac OS X #123

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to this link: http://alpha.dougstewartdesign.com/

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected: That the numbered links and arrows at the bottom of the Flash module
would exhibit proper hit-areas.
Actual: Hit-areas seem to be displaced above the links and to have been
shrinked vertically.
Move the cursor around a bit, you can find them.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

SWFObject 2.1 rc2, SWFObject 2.0 rc2 and the following browsers:

_Mac OS X 10.5.4_
Firefox 3.0 Error
Safari 3.1.2 Works
Safari 4 Works

_Windows XP SP2_
Firefox 2.0 Works
Firefox 3.0 Works
IE 6 Works
IE 7 Works
Opera 9.5 Works
Safari 3.1.2 Works

Please provide any additional information below.

The issue only seems to be present on the latest version of Firefox for Mac. I
couldn't check for
Firefox 2.0 because I didn't have it installed.

IE6 and Safari 4 are both stand-alone applications.

I validated both xHTML and CSS but I'm also using a few other JavaScript files
including a beta of
of sIFR (v3r414)

This issue list only deals with issues caused by SWFObject 2, so could you
please do
the following:
- verify if this ill-behavior also occurs with the twice cooked Flash embed
method as
provided by Adobe
- if it looks like it is caused by SWFObject, provide a minimal testcase that
only
includes your Flash movie + SWFObject code and no other JS libraries

Using standard publishing settings with Flash and the provided HTML and
JavaScript files the issue persists so
I'm going to guess it may not be a SWFObject issue.

Sorry for the false alarm. I'll continue to narrow down the exact cause of the
issue. Next is to double-check to
make sure it's not an Adobe Flash Player issue but I'm guessing Firefox for Mac
is the issue.
