What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install plugin
2. Quit/restart browser
3. Create a new browser window (including initial window)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Firefox displays the message "The SimpleMecab XPCOM component cannot be
loaded".
If attempting to process a page (regardless weather it contains processable
characters) the message will reappear and keep reappearing indefinitely
when closed.

Which browser are you using, Firefox or Chrome? On what operating system?
Firefox 3.5.8 on Ubuntu 9.10 x86-64 with Mecab 0.97.

Please provide any additional information below.
The following mecab-related packages were installed when the error occured:
mecab, mecab-utils, mecab-ipadic, mecab-ipadic-utf8, libmecab1.

Furigana Injector for Firefox is not 64bit compatible.

News: a binary-component-less version, 2.0, has been developed and will be
released on
this website once the localization is finished (by march 11, say). If you want
a copy
now you can email akira.
