BF-301 (family) cloning for use with Broadlink RM Pro #1

Hi Antti.

Nick Whyte came up with an elegant python solution to generate base64 style commands that the Broadlink RM Pro RF transceiver can deal with. See here.

This is for a different remote though (that comes with the RAEX blind motors).

Any idea how to adapt his script to deal with BF-301 style commands?

Hi!

I am not familiar with the Broadlink RM Pro or RAEX motors and without hardware it would be difficult to test. My suggestion would be to look for other devices with tribit commands and modify timings as needed. It should be pretty straightforward, in most cases anyway.

@jperquin did you get anywhere with this? I've got a rollerhouse motor and remote, and a Broadlink RM Pro (now sitting in the corner doing nothing). Struggling to find anything 'off-the-shelf' that delivers to Ireland, such as the bond, or rfxtrx433XL. Rolling code's have ruined my week 😅
