Akka.ioで公開することはOKとのことだが、現在ドキュメント形式を変更中とのこと。 SphinxからParadoxという独自ツールに。すでにakka-httpは移行されている。 http://doc.akka.io/docs/akka/2.4/scala/http/index.html

移行ツールとかあったりするんですかね。

あるようです。ひとまずSphinxで進めましょう。

We have an automated conversion script. 
We can share it with you when we have done the actual switch (might still be a few more changes). 
The missing piece right now is a Paradox theme that can support navigation of the amount of docs that we have in Akka. 
We are working on that.
