Now Mx6.6 is out will this module get an overhaul? #1

Just wondering where this module is going now that we have native Rest.

Native rest doesn't yet support publishing data or logic as an API. Also, initial use case for rest publish will most likely focus on json, not csv. So for now, it still serves a purpose.
