crashing n8n instance on install

Hi I tried installing n8n-nodes-betterpeople as a community node on a self-hosted n8n instance (v1.42.1) running on docker but ended up in constantly having crashes during n8n startup. I used the CLI for install: npm i n8n-nodes-betterpeople in ~/.n8n/nodes

Are there any prerequisites to for installing/using these nodes?

I usually install it with GUI You may have issues due to onoff WIP but it has been removed

I could install v2.2.0 now and add the midjourney-node to a workflow, but I am encountering more problems now:

on the node itself the "credentials" dialogue seems broken, it seems there is no possibility to create new credentials like in core-nodes.
I tried creating credentials in the "n8n credentials" section but could not find anything matching your cutom-node.
strangely, after returning to my workflow and trying to add the midjourney-node again, it does not appear anymore in the list of installed nodes even though it still is showing up under "community-nodes".

I am using n8n 1.46.0
