Design for Therapist Profile Page #113

  1. What does it basically look like
  2. What are the basic features

(you were using the Dropbox design pattern)

billiedemott commented 11 years ago

**For Billie - "Add a patient" - can be click and brings up a modal where you can invite your patient via email.

Therapist Profile Page (Use Dropbox layout for now)

List of Patients –

 Charts & Thought Record

 Indicates when last modified – “Date of Last Entry”

 (Future: indicates 3 latest categories entered)

 (Future: indicates average of each mood rating over the last wk/last two weeks)

 (Future: connect your calendar & we tell you when your next appt is with this patient)

When the therapist navigates to the patient profile page, all of the entries not yet read have a translucent film over them/the titles are a different color. Whatever is easiest for the MVP

billiedemott commented 11 years ago

@akshatpradhan - how feasible is it to do the things that I marked "future" above?

billiedemott commented 11 years ago

@akshatpradhan - if we are able to do that, then the therapist dashboard serves as a good way for them to get a quick snapshot re: what their patient is dealing with.

billiedemott commented 11 years ago

@akshatpradhan - figure we do a similar UI to Dropbox, super simple right now pending what you say above. I gotta think through what else would be useful to know. I think knowing what their email settings are is important, but that goes in their settings page, which I have to do.

@akshatpradhan - *asterisk next to "Invite Other Therapists" is cause I'm not sure if that's right. Also I want to get these menu items justified right. Gotta figure that out. If you know off the cuff, lmk :8ball:

@akshatpradhan

I think we should keep this page super bare for now until we can figure out what therapists want and have them use this. I think we really need user research regarding what's wanted before we invest the time to build things out.

Given this, I think we should just start with the patient name & the date of last entry. Super super simple, almost too simple.

But next step that would be great is if:

  1. We could hook up a shrink's calendar and then a) reorder the roster based on upcoming appts b) also send notifications based on upcoming appts - those notifications could seem like appt reminders/give a snapshot of what's been going on with the patient (I'm thinking sort of like mint's weekly financial update).

@akshatpradhan

I think in the patient roster page, we should show a view of the chart for the last 4 weeks. When a therapist clicks on it, then they are taken to that patient's journal.

I like this. And also the first 80 characters of their Entry that goes to the User's profile page.
