Installation does not work when following the documentation #5952

Issue description

Installation does not work when steps from the documentation are followed. What could be the reason?

Windows 10, npm 8.1.2, node 16.13.2

Use the node version 14.15.0 to resolve this issue

Thanks for the hint. In the meantime I switched to another angular admin template, so can't really say if the fix works.

@r3econ, You have to switch the node version too when switching to different project. You can use NVM or NVS to do that

Hi @andreidiaconescu, Try it by installing the npm version 6 or lesser than 6 with node 18. use the command npm i -g npm@6

Use nvm to switch node versions.
