I remember reading this in an issue, cannot find it anymore, but there was a suggestion to add numbers to shape point to know the order at which they were added. I think this could be useful for large area shapes especially. Things to consider: Numbers should follow order and be displayed on the map next to the point or inside the circle? If a point is deleted we need to update the consecutive points so there are no "wholes".
