Branded SNV Biogas app & Cook stoves app

Specification to SNV:

• Customized branding. Both apps will have custom branding and a visual design pattern derived from SNV. The design implementation means the app can have its own icon, logo, name, and color palette.
• Akvo FLOW app functionality. Both apps will have the same functionality as the Akvo FLOW app. All future changes and improvements to the Akvo FLOW app will be automatically added to the Biogas app and to the Cookstoves app. No extra functionality, which will serve only the two new apps, will be built. To conclude, the new app will work in the same way as the Akvo FLOW app. The difference will be in the visual design and branding.
• Dashboard connection. Each app will be connected to the respective dashboard (instance). This means that, for example a user collecting data via the Biogas app will have access only to surveys created on the biogas dashboard. It will not be possible to load surveys from other dashboards onto this app. Once the Akvo FLOW app is added to the app store, some changes will be implemented that will affect how users download the app. However, all core functionality will remain the same.
• Multiple surveys. The user will be able to work on multiple surveys on the Biogas app and on the Cookstoves app. These surveys can only originate from the respective connected dashboard.

Based on the last discussions here is a summary of the decisions made:

• the biogas app and cook stoves app design will be created by @loicsans. This will be a one iteration work, as SNV has decided to give us authority on the design of both apps. Hans M will communicate this to SNV
• the app design will be identical for both the biogas app and the cook stoves app.
• the biogas app and cook stoves app icon will both hold the SNV logo (based on SNV brand passport)
• The only difference is then in the app name and the dashboard it is paired with
• the name of the apps:
  • Biogas
  • Improved Cook stoves or Cook stoves - depending on the character limitations
• dashboard:
  • biogas app is to be paired with the akvoflow-89.appspot.com (biogas-programme.akvoflow.org)
  • cook stoves app will be paired with the new created cook stoves dashboard (to be requested, once all information is received)
• changes will be made to the 'About' page under the Settings
  • header: About - Akvo FLOW app > About - SNV Biogas app/ About - SNV Improved Cook stoves app
  • 1st line of text: Akvo FLOW app > SNV Biogas app/ SNV Improved Cook stoves app
  • the rest remains the same
• in terms of functionality the apps are identical with the current FLOW app functionality and will mirror all changes made to the FLOW app

Finished with 1.9.4 dashboard release and 2.2.2 release off the app.
