WASH Mali #206

At the WASH Mali website, in Posts, there are some fields; document one, two and CartoDB Map Links that are mandatory and need to be filled in.

In some cases we don’t have a CartoDB link and no second document to upload. My request is to make those fields not mandatory.

On the front end it show two buttons ‘XLS’ and ‘CSV’ (see screenshot below). These cannot be changed by me. I prefer to change them myself but if this is not possible please change them to ‘download’.

I have made CartoDB link and Document Two fields mandatory.

For Data download buttons :

I have made changes so that the file extension of the uploaded file will be displayed.

I have noticed that the post "Bulletins hydrologiques NUMÉRO 19" has two categories(map and data) selected. According to the system, a post can have only one category. So either "maps" or "data" should be selected.

Please let me know your feedback.

Thanks for the changes, there are only some things not right yet. About the categories: if I don’t select both (data and maps) the post won’t appear on the homepage. Also the (featured) image is not visible on the website (homepage and ‘data and maps’ page).

According to the requirement and design, only "maps" will be displayed in home page . "data" will be displayed only in "data and maps" page so when adding a map, admin has to select only "maps" category and for data, only select "data" category.

About featured image:

This is not supported currently. According to the design, Maps will have CartoDB Map. When there is no map, only title and description will be displayed. Data has no image. but If you want this feature, it can be implemented.
