HA integration like that is going to be a bit tricky, since this is entirely a front-end app.
However, I've been thinking about adding a button that'd let you save a palette as a scene you could then recall later with the usual HA stuff -- however, it wouldn't be randomized/varied, then. Would that work for you?
(ps. yeah, I know the panel isn't very pretty, but I needed it to be information dense, and the regular Material UI usually isn't - nevertheless, design ideas are welcomed!)
It is dense, though I feel like the space isn't being used wisely efficiently (I've highlighted some "empty space").
I wonder if the space limitation would be less problematic if the UI was more scroll-oriented and less "fit everything at once"-oriented. I can't say whether it's better to show all controls at once or to have a less cramped UI, I'm not a UX designer (though I work with one almost every day)
I've recently come across this project and I enjoy using it to apply a pseudo-random color palette to my room (I like the Hue scenes but of course those aren't available for non-Hue lights) but I'm missing a way to apply those scenes programatically/without leaving the HA UI (no offense but the custom panel is ugly and doesn't remember my choices). It'd be awesome if this project exposed a service to call with the entities/area which it should apply one of the scenes to.
