Please check that you are using the correct extension. This extension does not send attendance records, but downloads them immediately at the end of the Meet.
Additionally, as per the documentation, this extension can only record people who appear on the screen (or in the chat/people panel, if open), and only at a fixed interval. So, if you are keeping the attendance off except for when you use it at the start and end of the Meet, then you must wait for at least the polling time set in the settings to pass so that it can capture all the necessary data. And make sure that all participants are visible on screen by keeping the people panel open, or by using Tiled view.
(one further note: this extension continuously captures attendance, it doesn't have an option for manual capturing of data, so I'm not sure how you are choosing to capture twice during the Meet)
We are having issues with Google Meet Attendance logging participant names at the beginning and end of the meet. We hosted a meeting on 4/22/21 and choose the capture attendance 2 times during the meet, but realized after that only answers to the poll questions were captured. This may very easily be a user error as we are beginners with using this extension.
Lastly, at times it may take a day or 2 for us to receive the attendance records. Is it possible for us to receive this immediately?
