Can you tell me what phone you have, on what carrier, and what version of
Android you
are running? I can report this to folks on the Market team.

I am having the same problem here. I'm on a Tmobile G1 running Android 1.6.

I'm on a Tmobile G1 running 2.1. I don't think that it is my rom since I've
downloaded
other things, but perhaps it is

How do you get 2.1 running on a G1?

The recommended "fix" for this is to run the Gtalk application.
But really, if you've flashed your phone to some custom rom, all bets are off
and all bugs are yours.
