Multi-touch direction/speed slide bar position is reset each time the jump button is pressed #63

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using only multi-touch interface
2. Drag the green directional/speed button to left/right max position
3. At the same time, press the blue jump button several times

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When player is setting a direction and speed using this slide bar, and keeping 
this position with his finger no other button event should change the current 
value.
The speed and direction are reset each time causing the player to re-enter his 
input.  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Replica Island 1.4
Android 2.2
Samsung Galaxy S
