Components sometimes remain even after the user has removed them #11

I believe this problem to be fixed in the next release.

Spoke too soon.... removed components are not visible in the GUI, but they are 
still
getting indication events, for example.

To reproduce: start GVZ with default data set, remove startplot and starplot 
map,
then load larger (in rows) dataset. Mouse around map, and observe errors.

Finally fixed! This will be included in the next release.
