Prevent overlap of document list with doc list header #38

Just a small optical change, for me (in Chrome) it looked quite ugly before.

I also added a change to improve README readability by adding JS syntax highlighting.

I'll try to group my pull request by subject in order to prevent you from having to merge 20 or so PRs ;-) , so this pull request will contain all optics-only changes.
