This feature could auto scroll to the end of the log and display the log in an scrollable bigger window to have any chance of being useful in finding a compiling error.

That's a good idea I can look into. But for now, you can view the entire compile log by using the "->" and "<-" buttons. The method you've described though, is certainly more intuitive. But I was trying to avoid making the screen too cluttered.
