Rendering tiles as vector graphics does not work

It should work in theory, but in practice, something in cario seems to rasterize the result in the end…

Advantages:

• tiles are indefinitely scalable without quality loss
• size of tiles might decrease and speed up transfers
• no rasterization needed, might speed up render times
