What steps will reproduce the problem?

No problem. Requesting SpeedStepping functionality.

What netbook are you using this on?

Dell Mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

No expectation. Feature Request.

Would like speedstepping, no speedstepping currently.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OSX 10.5.8 - OSX 10.6 (NBM/NBI .8.2(alpha)

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm sure you're aware of this already, but if not, you simply need
VoodooPowerMini.kext for speedstep. It works in snow leopard, and can be
installed
safely in /S/L/E:

http://www.superhai.com/darwin.html

The mini version is for netbooks so that the TState control doesn't cause
kernel
panics. You can confirm speedstep with cpu-x:

Yes. I understand that there is VoodooPowerMini. Thank you for trying to help
out...

There are reasons meklort excluded VoodooPowerMini from NetbookInstaller though,
because it can cause hardware whining and some other minor issues.

I am going to wait until meklort has time to explore all of the options
available to
see what would best work with the Mini 9 / Mini 10v.

Thanks!

With the final release 0.8.3 VoodooPowerMini.kext doesn't work for me. Clean
install
with Snow Leopard and upgraded to 10.6.2 (BIOS A05).
Native Speedstepping with NBI would be totally awesome!

NetbookInstaller 0.8.4 RC2 will have proper (native) speed stepping support.
