After SL install and change BIOS- Mac grey screen stays and freezes until I manually power down

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.After install of SL Bios gets rest so
2.I reboot, change bios then the Mac grey screen pops up and stays there
until I hold the power button down.  Only way I can get in is if i boot
with -x or change BIOS settings back (aka disable bluetooth, enable the
other 2)
3.sleep does not also work but you know that

What netbook are you using this on?
Mini 10v -2GB RAM - 16GB stock samsung SSD

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Boot into SL- mac screen freezes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest netbook installer- snow leopard.  Did and upgrade from 10.5.8 and it
happened so I fresh installed it.  same problem

Please provide any additional information below.

ok somehow the mac free after bios fixed on its own after about 20 restarts.  
So just
now sleep and I don't know if this is a problem but it takes almost a full 
minute for
it to startup whereas 10.5.8 took about 20-25
