Quiet Boot isn't quiet #29

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run NetbookInstaller.
2. Enable Quiet Boot.
3. restart.

What netbook are you using this on?
dell mini 9, runcore ssd.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The portion of the boot that allows startup options to be entered should be
minimized, but it's
just as long as when quiet boot is disabled.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Netbook Installer 0.8.2 (alpha), os 10.6.1.

Please provide any additional information below.
Yes, this is only a cosmetic flaw. Skip if it's difficult to fix.

I have a Dell mini 9 also and I ran Netbook Installer 0.8.3 RC1, os 10.6.1 I
checked also Quiet boot ran
it and it doesn't quiet boot with that installer either. Fix it whenever you
can, I had it working with
10.5.8!

Same Problem, I've had this issue since installing Snow Leopard, none of the
NBI releases have fixed it. I was
running DellEFI on this system with 10.5.8. Not a big issue.
