Reset auth? #127

Sorry if this is a silly question, but if the AUTH value for an account were compromised, does anyone know if there is a way to reset it? Updating the password did not seem to invalidate the old one.

I have absolutely no clue. You should ask turntable.fm (and let us know if you find something :) )

I will. I figured I'd try here first. Thanks Alain, I'll re-open if I find something out.

Update: I wrote turntable via their feedback form and though it took 6 weeks or so, Brad passed my request on to a developer who is supposedly going to change it. Hasn't happened yet but this seems to be the only recourse.

Should have just pm'd a GK directly, would have saved you a lot time!

Thanks Izzmo, you're right that would have probably been faster. I created a new bot account anyway, there wasn't anything particularly special about the old account, so time wasn't really an issue.
