alainlhostis / shriveling_world

The "shriveling_world" project aims at producing images of the global geographical time-space, using the third dimension, as in time-space relief maps. The word "shriveling" was introduced by Waldo Tobler in his comments of Mathis-L'Hostis time-space relief image, in order to describe the complex contraction process suggested by the model.

I have exported China time-space to OBJ file, opened it in Blender When I render from Blender edges seem invisible! cones the Blender file is here: https://filesender.renater.fr/?s=download&token=311c9540-3b8b-a469-744f-4ce7b3d94f5d

reason is edges are lines with no thickness; they must be enlarged to ribbons or cylinders to be rendered in Blender

currently operations must be done in Blender to convert lines to three d geometries
