Requirements from Brett:

The only way to truly replicate what is being done in the disorder annotation 
in Knowtator is to integrate a way to create spanless annotations in eHOST. I 
made some comments on the testing I sent you from last week about this. Without 
spanless annotations we can't completely replicate the Knowtator schema . Would 
you think about how this can be done? We may not like this solution, but this 
is how the schema has been set up to support the disorder annotation crowd 
sourcing. Spanless annotations are commonly used by other groups besides 
Guergana's. Workarounds aren't going to win the support of Guergana and Noemie 
to use the combo of eHOST/Annotation Admin for this purpose.
