My request here isn't linked to a problem or frustration but more about something that I believe can leverage the interest on the app then help a lot of person.

Planner should have a front page that we see when launching the app presenting us with the stats of current tasks and projects. number of recorded projects/tasks, number of finished, pending, currently running tasks/projects, number of hours, level of achievement as per datas and actions provided/made by the user. the app would also have a Go to Task button allowing us to skip or leave that page and go straight to our management board. Having such possibility would be helpful and help us evaluate our real productivity level with more accurate infos. Better tracking, better productive life.

The alternative of this is this, instead of having a view board/dashboard at the very launch and button or an option can be created so we can acces the same report/tracking activity board (here more hidden)

There are existing feature requests for a kanban board. Would that fulfil this request for a 'big picture' overview?
