Not working on pie #547

i am working on app as a beginner and started using this library , the calendar was working just fine in the android Oreo (API 26) but once i upgraded my phone to pie (API 27 or 28 not sure ) the app started crashing and it closes on it's own if anyone can provide me with a solution i would be grateful
