This seems like a great opportunity.
I have not attended this conference before, but it seems that it might be appealing for the audience to talk about the process of eliciting feedback from the community, rather than, say, talking at length about the platform itself (which we definitely want to do at the Autistica Research Festival).
The audience will definitely be interested in what strategies worked well. I am purely making this up, but if I imagine an attendee at a citizen science conference would be interested in things like:
Having said that, if you haven't written the above up for presentation before it might take some time and reflection. I think an interesting poster/talk would also be a high-level view of the Autspaces project, starting from the highlighted need for research and the lack of data, through to community-led design, and some screenshots / demo of the current working platform (😉). Which may take less time to put together.
Thanks for chiming in @callummole!
I think overall that's exactly my thinking as well, as I think we have some valuable lessons to share about co-designing for inclusion, building communities and trust, which are some of the keywords they specifically highlight. Which might be of more interest to that audience than "just" seeing a working platform.
Once @GeorgiaHCA is back from the holidays we can maybe start brainstorming some aspects of this, as I think we would be able to get something written up in time for the deadline!
Just had a chat with @GeorgiaHCA and nominated myself for making a first draft of a submission!
Thanks @gedankenstuecke ! Let me know if you get too inundated with things and you'd like me to draft 😃
Thanks, will do!
Made a first draft here
And done, just submitted it!
Our submission was accepted as a poster, which gives us the option to present remotely or in person.
AMAZING! Well done Bastian!! 🌟
Summary
The 2023 Citizen Science Association conference, C*Sci 2023, will be held from May 22-26 on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe/Phoenix, Arizona but also allows for remote/virtual participation. The submission deadline for contributions (default is poster, with few submissions also getting slots for talks) is on January 27, 2023.
It would be nice if we could highlight some of the work we have been doing with AutSPACEs at this forum. The full guide for submissions is available.
Beyond an abstract they also ask for a number of different categorizations and AutSPACEs might fit well with-in a number of different of these categories (see bold ones):

Submission deadline is January 27, 2023.
