Open fjThomasStanley opened 4 years ago

fjThomasStanley commented 4 years ago

As a

Developer

I would like

to show the community a prototype implementation of the user profile type selection control from the Fujitsu wireframe concept

So that

the community can provide feedback on the wireframe and protoype design concepts to ensure the platform is being developed in the correct way

Acceptance criteria

define how this user story will close

Fujitsu wireframe design:

image

Notes: Ignore the blue person icons down the left hand side of the image, these are there due to a display issue on the Fujitsu wireframe design tool from which the image was captured from.

I have finished this component and added to the component gallery. A pull request has been raised as Paul#7.

@fjThomasStanley please can you add acceptance criteria to the user story

ghost commented 4 years ago

I can confirm I have reviewed the development work for the user profile and a member of the dev team other than Paul with review functional elements of the code and undertake testing.

Heya - thanks so much for sharing this! Certainly happy you've captured that some people will fit into multiple categories. I suggest iterating on the basis that there needs to be a category for people who are neither autistic nor caregivers themselves but may nevertheless benefit (for instance I had a music teacher get in touch to say they wanted to know how they could help autistic adults learn piano)

GeorgiaHCA commented 4 years ago

two other minor things I'd love to get your thoughts on:

1) There are many people who are not neuro-typical or autistic (e.g. they may be dyslexic but not autistic), and there are also some who may not have a diagnosis or may not be sure. Could we potentially have three categories of: I am autistic; I think I may be on the autistic spectrum; I am not autistic?

2) I'm not sure it makes sense to have one category called "diverse" as that could include a lot of different things and might confuse people - but I do see that we need to cater for those who may have diverse needs.

Hey! I've added a label for "reviewed" for things I've already looked at so you can search issues using this label. I'll also move it back to the to-do in the project board.
