Turing Interest Groups – now welcoming new applications We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for new Turing Interest Groups.

Interest Groups aim to promote research collaboration, share knowledge, and communicate emerging scientific concepts to the wider Institute and beyond, around a shared area of interest in data science and AI. @ots22 An interest group might be a good thing to hang wider collaboration across the Turing on.

Noting (from elsewhere):

• there is an existing Turing interest group on Privacy-preserving data analysis - synthetic data may be in scope for this group (once revived)
• There is now a '#synthetic-data' Slack channel (Turing)
• The workshop (#122) identified a few people across the Turing who may be interested in joining

Privacy-preserving data analysis group seems to have been reactivated recently. We could ask if they think synthetic data is in scope.
