Licence options #80

Need to decide on which license option to choose - We are currently using MIT, and ideally we want to remain open source but other licenses are available. Have this decision linked to issue #81 so this needs to be decided before opening up repo.

I am happy with either MIT or GPL. I think we also need @simonrnss to take a view on this from his org's side?

No issue from me I don't think. No code here is ours.
