Things to do

  1. Advertise on Slack to make people aware Hacktoberfest is happening, and tell people how to take part, both as maintainers and as contributors.
  2. Make October hacksession Hacktoberfest themed, work especially on Hacktoberfest-tagged repos.
  3. Look into whether organising an official event is worth it: https://hacktoberfest.com/events/
