Fire Flow Test Results 11/10/15 #18

Amy and Madeleine, In reviewing the latest feedback from Wachs, I have been looking at how data are and will be stored.

Currently, Bob Suri is not using the app, and I’m not sure that he will use it moving forward. His two-hydrant tests are assigned and results are captured via Cityworks.

Wachs hydrant inspections do entail a flow test (single only) and their results will be captured by the app and stored in Operations.

What are your thoughts on how to handle this data moving forward? We can:

• Set up a routine to copy Bob’s results over to Operations, which would also capture time/date and location info for Operations; however, system residual data would be lost using current schema • Or, keep the two separate; work flows and intents are different, but we would have to use two tables instead of a single location to store ALL fire flow data. This is currently what is being used
