Cityworks Issues - Duplicate WO Creation #5

Amy & Bharat,

Judging by what I have seen in Cityworks, especially with the Resolution field, there is a big issue with Control 1 creating duplicate Work Orders. When creating Work Orders, Control 1 is failing to use the search nearby function to find out if the Work Order has already been created. Also, Motorola’s interface not supporting many SRs to many WOs does not help.

I have attached the searching HOW TO guide, which I suggest be distributed to all users along with a specific email to Control 1 stressing the importance to reducing Work Order duplication. I was also thinking, there should be a way to provide all guides/SOPs to users in a single, accessible location.

Joe, I will send the guide to Control 1. Thanks, Can we publish the guides as part of the Cityworks help link and also on the portal? Once we are local of course.
