What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Record a track
2. click "share this track"
3. I get: unable to save the route:":/sdcard/open etc..."reason:error wrting to
SD cars

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Which Android device are you using? HTC Legend

What version of Android are you running? 2.1

What version of the Open GPS Tracker are you running? 0.9.18

Please provide any additional information below.

Can you reproduce this with version 0.9.19? The .18 release allows illegale
characters to the filename and such.

If the problem persists after the update could you possible add/mail a log
output? An application such as Log Collector works great for that.

I get this error ONLY when my mobile is connected via USB. When unpluged
(non-cradled) I can save the file...

I think that the SD-Card is then in use by the computer. I have heard about
some HTC phones having an extra software that synchronizes data. That would
claim the sd-card when cradled and bar Open GPS Tracker from writing tracks.

Not much to do about that except to show it clearer that the SD-Card is in use.
