The term 'Get-VDSwitch' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program.

The term 'Get-VDPortgroup' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program.

I think these cmdlet are available from PowerCLI since PowerCLI 5.1 R2 only (check on http://www.virtu-al.net/2013/02/11/powercli-5-1-r2-released/)

Hello Mr. Martin,

you were right. After installing the mentioned PowerCli version the cmdlets are available.

now there comes the message:

Get-VDPortgroup : Cannot validate argument on parameter 'Name'. The argument is null or empty. Supply an argument that is not null or empty and then try the command again. At C:\vCheck\Plugins\80 DvPG with less than x Ports Free.ps1:11 char:22

I think you might want to consider 2 things for this plugin:

1) Check for the PowerCLI version before attempting to run any of the cmdlets 2) Check whether any DVSwitches exist before carrying out any checks on them
