Could we try a new background that is more like a pintrest-style clean and papery? I found this one which I like: http://subtlepatterns.com/patterns/natural_paper.png

Yeah i can swap in a new background, no probs.

Cool! I think that we should also look at changing the grey boxes around 'likes' 'user name' and 'comments' so that it's just the text and looks a bit cleaner. I can try a mock-up of that too.

http://colly.com/ I love the use of slightly transparent boxes and the grey/red contrast on this site. Just food for the brain really thought I'd share!

No need for mock i can do that. Lets try not to copy pinterest too much tho yeah?

Yeah agreed was just thinking the same thing! Maybe five mini pics are better therefore so it doesnt look too similar.

I think we should remove the green box in the all page that introduces the page and instead 'write' onto the paper like this:

It doesn't get in the way as much...

The black text against the paper background in the beta test pop-up screen looks great. Let's use the same typeface and style for the 'All' page headers (e.g. List sorted by most number of likes) instead of the green box.

When removing the background behind user comments lets also remove the word 'Comments' as its kinda redundant.

When iOS optimised could the menu show when the list is tapped anywhere instead of having the 'menu' button?

I think that this issue can be closed. The remaining piece is the name lozenges which is covered elsewhere.
