Because radico8 is currently on only one server, a server restart could take down the youtube stream and require people to use a new URL. Youtube stream seems to go down after like 10ish seconds of not getting data.
Possible ways to work around this:
Do a quick reboot, probably lets me keep the linode ip too. Wonder if it's fast enough to not take down the stream. I want to try it anyways. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kexec
Stream "nothing" to the backup url while the server is restarting.
Anyways, I should pick actually try a kernel upgrade one day and somewhat automate that process.
Alternatively, I could just pay for another server constantly streaming to the backup url, but I don't really want to do that. (I could host other things on it too though, so maybe it's an okay option?)
